MINISTRIES

BROTHERHOOD

The Brotherhood of Thomas Memorial is an outreach and in reach mission of Thomas Memorial to share the love of Jesus. It serves both the community and our church members. The first Sunday of each month, the community and members of the church are invited to a breakfast, a time of prayer, and the preaching of God's Word or a testimony. Although it is called the Brotherhood, ladies are invited

as well.

The Brotherhood serves the community through services projects like the ones in the pictures below. We will build ramps with handrails for those who are in need and cannot afford a ramp. We will also take on other projects if we are able to do so.

WOMEN'S MISSIONARY UNION

Women's Missionary Union is an organization of Thomas Memorial Baptist Church that seeks to serve the missionaries in our state and abroad. Their mission is to inform and inspire Christians to influence their world for Christ. Their purpose is to pray for and give to missions, learn about and participate in missions, strive toward living a mission lifestyle, and to participate in the work of the local church.

They would love for any ladies to come out and join them! They  meet the first Tuesday of each month at 11 AM.

LAUNDROMAT LOVE!

Laundromat Love is an outreach ministry of Thomas Memorial to show the love of Jesus and to serve the community by paying for their laundry to be washed and dried. We also help by serving those in the laundromat in any way. We provide quarters, detergent, and dryer sheets for all who come through. We once had a lady say, "I've never had this much fun at the laundromat." We enjoy making this time as special as possible.

This is a community outreach project that we would love to have you for. See our Facebook page for important events and updates.

COMMUNITY KITCHEN

The Community Kitchen of Bennettsville is an outreach ministry to serve the community of Bennettsville. Each week, various churches and community organizations cook a hot meal for those less fortunate in our community. Anyone is welcome to receive a hot meal and a bottle of water by just showing up. The kitchen is currently serving 200-250 plates a day.

Matthew 25:34-35, 37, and 40 says, "Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat;....Then the righteous will answer Him, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed you'?....The King will answer an say to them 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me."

TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD!
